A standard practice of Easter is dying Easter eggs, if you are tired of the same old solid color eggs, you can use crayons or Sharpies to create a design of you choosing. This is a great way to be creative and if you have little ones, encourage them to go wild. Make sure you use the sharpie or crayon prior to dying the eggs and use vinegar to make the colors really pop. You can use regular food coloring so you don't have to buy a kit! Try experimenting with multiple color dyes on one egg, but do them from light to dark so as not to mix the colors. Use egg cartons to dry the eggs in lieu of the fancy cardboard cut out tray that comes with the kits.

Ingredients
- 6 eggs, Hard Boiled (sliced or Chopped)
- 1 Cup Mayo, (miracle whip is ok!)
- 3/4 Cup Honey Mustard, Regular or Dijon Is OK!
- Seasonings, (I use steak seasoning, lemon pepper, cayenne pepper and Mrs. Dash)
- 1 each Green, Red, Orange and Yellow Bell Peppers, Omit if you like or use different kinds!
- 1 Can Tuna or Chicken, If you fell that Urge!
Instructions
- Combine eggs, Seasonings, peppers and canned meat in large mixing bowl.
- Add mustard and mayo and stir gently so as not to destroy eggs.
- Serve on bread or as a side dish.
- Enjoy!

Leftover Egg (Tie) Dye?!
We all have leftover dye form eggs, but instead of wasting it, you can use it to transform household textiles and clothing into fun Tie--Dye patterns!!
The easiest way to keep the mess under control is to use a plastic tablecloth cover and squeeze bottles (the kind you use for dying hair- these can be obtain at dollar stores and beauty supply houses) and Rubber Gloves (keep in mind all of these are optional).
You will need:
White Clothing, Sheets, Pillowcases, (whatever you want to Dye.)
Rubber Bands
Leftover dye (Put each separate color in a bottle)
Destructions:
First take whatever you plan on Dying and fold it accordion style (back and forth) until all of the material is used up. Once this is done you have a few options:
A) Leave the material in this style and rubber band off different sections (this produces a horizontal stripe effect)
B) Roll the item up like a pinwheel and Use rubber bands to section it off (like you would divide a pizza) This gives the common spiral effect.
Which ever way you choose the next step is to apply the dye. Squeeze the bottle until the color has begun to soak in, you can leave white areas if you wish for variation.
Keep in mind that the colors will bleed together no matter how much you don't want them to. A color wheel can be helpful when deciding what colors to use together. Remember your Primary colors (Red, Blue, Yellow) will mix (red & blue make purple, Red & yellow make orange, Blue & yellow make green) to create colors. Secondary Colors (Purple, Orange, Green) will also mix to make different shades.
When you are satisfied with the color scheme, allow the dye to soak in (5-10 mins ). Remove the rubberbands (you can cut them) and rinse shirt very well in COLD water until Water runs clear.
Wash the item (by itself ) and dry as usual. If you put the item in the wash with any other items, they will become dyed. If this is not desired...DON'T DO IT!
